November 8th, 2020 – Baden, Ontario – During a region-wide visit on November 7th, Tim Louis, Member of Parliament for Kitchener-Conestoga, brought Omar Alghabra, Minister of Transport, to Erb Transport in Wilmot to tour their facilities and discuss the importance of the trucking industry.
Wendell Erb, President and CEO of The Erb Group of Companies, Stephen Laskowski, President of the Canadian Trucking Alliance (CTA) and Ontario Trucking Association (OTA), OTA Chairman James Steed, as well as other executives of The Erb Group were all in attendance. The group discussed the importance of the industry and their essential role in keeping the supply chain moving.
Both Minister Alghabra and MP Louis commended the trucking industry for its essential contributions to our economy, despite recent challenges of the pandemic and global supply chains.
The visit concluded with a tour of Erb Transport’s shop.
